Newington’s Music Under the Stars 2014

Newington’s Music Under the Stars 2014 series begins Tuesday, June 10th and runs until Tuesday, August 26th!  Every Tuesday at 7 p.m. during the summer, Newington will host live entertainment on the North Haven Town Green.  Admission is free, but the donation of a non-perishable food item is encouraged.


A variety of sponsors have teamed up to bring Newington’s Music Under the Stars to life this summer!  From Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Webster Bank, American Medical Response, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Art’s TV & Appliance, Columbus Day Committee of Greater New Haven, North Haven Police Benevolent Association, North Haven Professional Firefighters Association, Storytellers Photography, and more have contributed to this community event.

Newington’s Music Under the Stars will be kicked off with Vinnie Carr and crooner, Rich DiPalma at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10th.  Vinnie Carr’s performances are fantastic for all ages, and include music from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and today!  The week after, the Rubber City Blues Band will take the North Haven Town Green; described as a mix between The Blues Brothers, Chicago, and Tower of Power, the Rubber City Blues Band gives a performance you won’t want to miss.
