Whistle Stop Cafe

Whistle Stop Cafe in Windsor, CT has been a successful, family-owned restaurant since 2004.  Dana Plant and her husband own and run the Whistle Stop Cafe with one twin daughter as Chef and the other as hostess.  With their pleasant  atmosphere and great good, Whistle Stop Cafe soon outgrew its original location and moved to a larger space.  Now located at 139 Broad Street, the Cafe includes not only a fantastic dining area, but also a private room for parties and a comfortable bar with room for musical acts.

Jazz enthusiasts will want to time their visit to Whistle Stop Cafe for Wednesday evenings when live music is provided by visiting jazz bands.  A recent show by The Doug Maher Trio filled seats with happy guests who enjoyed great music, fine draft beers, delicious foods, and the Whistle Stop’s famous desserts.

If you think of Whistle Stop Cafe as a breakfast or lunch spot, you’ve been missing out!  Dinner there any night of the week is sure to please, but Wednesday night Jazz shouldn’t be missed!
